Tips for Pregnant Vegetarians

If you are a vegetarian, be assured that can have a healthy baby without having to eat steak. But we do need is more carefully plan their diets. Vegetables, whole grains and vegetable (peas and beans) are rich in protein, but most are not complete or total protein (not containing the essential amino acids your body can not produce by itself).

To consume all the protein needed, you can combine grains with legumes or mixed nuts, rice and red beans, or peanut butter on whole grain bread. (more…)
